Hailing from North Wales, Half Space brings a unique perspective to the electronic music scene. Interested in a variety of instruments, production and sound engineering. Half Space’s journey through music has been anything but conventional. From pounding rhythms on stage to fine-tuning mixes as a Front of House engineer, his expertise now shines through in this bold, self-produced album, crafted over the past two years. With a nod to influences like Grouch , Ed solo, oood to name just a few. It’s Only Air blends the energy of dance music with subtle psychedelic twists, refusing to be boxed into a single genre. Expect traces of house, techno, and drum and bass, all fused with elements from synths and the organic pulse of natural instruments. The album’s title track, It’s Only Air, is a manifesto in sound. It’s a reflection on music’s essence, vibrations in the air that can spark joy or stir debate, depending on who’s listening. The project challenges the idea that value comes from familiarity, urging listeners to embrace the unfamiliar with open minds.

Half Space’s journey Started with drums before moving into computer-based production, he honed his craft at SAE, studying sound engineering, and later toured as a live sound engineer. A disciple of Iain Shepherd’s mastering course, Half Space is now eyeing the future, with plans to run a mastering studio.

It’s Only Air is set to amplify their presence in the electronic music world.
